A complete detail for a mid-size vehicle typically takes three hours.

Q: What if Chrome Illusions damages my car?

Chrome Illusions provides the highest quality service and has never damaged a vehicle. However, we are fully insured should a problem arise.

Q: What is sealer wax?

A sealer wax seals the paint against UV rays and pollution. Sealer wax also lasts longer than regular wax.

Q: What is a 2-stage buff?

1st stage is a cutting foam pad and glaze, followed by the 2nd stage which is a polishing foam pad and glaze. A 2-stage buff will remove 2,500 grit scratches including scratches from washing and light oxidation. It can bring back that new car luster and it leaves no machine marks (swirl free).

Q: I use a "duster" on my car to keep it from collecting dust. Is that bad for my car?

It's okay for very light dusting but extended use and using on heavy dust is not recommended as the dust particles will scratch your paint.
